Spring Training

Ray went to a Twins spring training game today. He was in Florida for business and it just so happened the Twins were in Clearwater playing the Phillies.

The Phillies play in Bright House Networks Field, which is a very nice 3 year old stadium. It has a grass berm seating area in left and right field, which is where he sat. Enjoying the game on a grass field, with the sun shining, a cold beer and hot dog is the way it is supposed to be. Both bullpens are out in left field, and above the bullpens is a large tiki bar. After the game, there was live entertainment at the bar. A large concourse above the main seating area gave plenty of room to wander during the game. A very nice facility

Johan Santana was on the mound for the Twins, but got into trouble in the fourth. The Twins had scored early and had a lead of 2-0 after one and half innings, but ended up losing 8-5.
